In 2004, following a football related fight away from the stadium, the Supporter was charged with and later convicted of a violence-related offence and received a two-and-a-half-year prison sentence and a seven-year Football Banning Order (“FBO”).
The claim relates to an indefinite ban imposed by the Club on the Supporter after an incident on 12 January 2023 at the home fixture against Chelsea.
The Supporter’s complaint relates to a sanction regarding their behaviour at the home fixture against Tottenham Hotspur FC on 11 February 2023. The Supporter stated in their Application to the IFO that early in the first half they placed their foot on the seat in front for comfort; the seat being empty.
The complaint originated out of circumstances leading up to the Leeds v Brighton fixture on Saturday 11 March 2023, which the Supporter was due to attend with their son.
A Brighton supporter complained about a Club sanction imposed on them following an incident involving a steward. The Supporter received a three-year Football Banning Order (“FBO”) at Brighton Magistrates’ Court which was terminated after two years, upon application by the Supporter.
The Complainant was arrested for allegedly headbutting a steward at the League 1 Play Off Final which took place at Wembley on 21 May 2022.
A Brighton Supporter complained about a Club suspension imposed on them and a deduction of loyalty points after a ticket was purchased in the Supporter’s name and using the Supporter’s fan number by the Supporter’s son, who was under 18 years old.
A Manchester United supporter complained that the Club had unjustly imposed a suspension on him for allegedly advertising tickets.
A West Ham supporter complained that he had been unjustly banned by the Club after he had inadvertently been caught up in a disturbance at Leeds United following a last minute winning goal. He further complained that his subsequent appeal against the ban had not been given due consideration.
